Sarah E. Roberts was a senior director and leader with a passion for individual and organizational talent development. She retired from the State of Colorado in 2015 and founded Clarity Matters Consulting LLC to continue fostering and promoting leaders. She combines her 15- plus years of state government leadership and management experience with her coaching, training, and facilitating skills to bring clarity to individuals and teams.
Sarah’s passion is working with leaders and emerging leaders to facilitate their “aha” moments as they come to realize their own potential and the depth and significance of their impact on employees, peers, and stakeholders. Sarah brings her experience and intuition to each setting, whether individual or group, to craft the best processes for the client through the embodiment of conversational intelligence and emotional intelligence using assessments and tools.
Sarah understands the unique demands and challenges of emerging leaders and uses her experience and qualifications, including conflict management skills, to facilitate their success in achieving desired outcomes and sustainable results. She values diversity and finds great satisfaction in bringing all points of view together to co-create new possibilities.
Sarah is a Certified Executive Coach and Certified Professional Coach Trainer for the Center for Coaching Certification where she trains aspiring coaches and professionals seeking coaching skills.
She serves as the Membership Director on the Colorado Chapter of the International Coach Federation, as Board President for the Regional Institute of Health and Environmental Leadership, as a volunteer coach for health professionals working with vulnerable populations, and is an active member of the Association for Talent Development.
Sarah earned her Masters in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix and Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Michigan State University. She was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and moved to Colorado in 1990. While the mountains are beautiful, she will always be a Great Lakes girl at heart.
