Rajiv Mathews is a full time leadership consultant, coach and facilitator since 2015 and is currently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is a Global Certified Coach with ICF and a Professional Certified Coach  (PCC) and travels extensively in the Asia Pacific Region.  

He focuses on the design and facilitation of interventions that bring about culture change for organizations and developing executive presence and talent for senior leaders. With his C-IQ Certification in Conversational Intelligence, he has a unique way of engaging individuals, teams, and companies by self-regulating and co­regulating neurochemistry.

He facilitates leaders to create healthy organizations through conversational rituals and uncover the wonderful worlds that emerge through the words that one share, the feelings one express, and the partnerships that evolve.

Rajiv has over 15 years of senior leadership experience in OEM Manufacturing, Mergers & Acquisitions, and in the Hospitality industry and has primarily worked in the US and Malaysia. His core expertise during his corporate career includes Sales Leadership, Global Business Operations and Team Management.

For the last 15 years, Rajiv has closely worked with the banking industry in the areas of culture change, sales leadership development and executive coaching for professional development. Some of the banks, includes HSBC, Citi Bank, Deutsche Bank, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and regional banks including May Bank, CIMB and OCBC.

Rajiv has also worked on assignments coaching executives from other sectors including telecommunications, (Telekom Malaysia, Telkom Indonesia etc.), Insurance, (AIA, Great Eastern, etc.) FMCG, (Guinness Anchor, Himalaya etc.) Automobile, (UMW Toyota) and Hospitality (Berjaya Hotel & Resorts, Visit Malaysia Year, Ministry of Tourism etc.).

In his facilitation approach, he brings respect, genuineness and respect for his participants and displays unique skills in stimulating dialogue, generating ideas, fostering curiosity and excitement and producing powerful outcomes.

In his coaching approach, he uses diverse models including solution-focused, appreciative enquiry, inner game mastery etc. to engage and bring effective results for his clients. Rajiv is a certified Instructor with Napoleon Hill Programs .

Amongst other professional tools and assessments, he is qualified to use and has extensive expertise in the Harrison Assessments, various 360 Degree Assessments and Firo-B. Rajiv is also an adjunct coach with the ICLIF Leadership Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Black Dog Consultants, Hong Kong, Melbourne Business School, Australia & Progress U, Singapore.

Rajiv is a contributing writer for two international best-selling books, ‘The Secret to Winning with Bryan Tracy’ published in 2012 and ‘The Pathway to Riches in Think and Grow Rich’, published by the Napoleon Hill Foundation, in 2011.

He also appears regularly on BFM channel in Malaysia 89.9 as a Business Coach in the program “Up the Ante”. He is the founding member of ICF Malaysia chapter and committee member of APAC (Asia Pacific Alliance of Coaches).

In his spare time, Rajiv loves to travel and learn about different cultures and build connections through the social media network. He is also an active Rotarian and conducts personal development programs to empower and rehabilitate the occupants of a HIV home based in Malaysia
