Pete is a Certified Master Coach, Certified in Conversational Intelligence® and a member of the International Coaching Federation, having successfully coached developing and experienced leaders and high performing teams in the corporate work environment and sole proprietor business owners in his private practice.
He co-lead creation and rollout of a Coaching Program for 200 managers (Vice President to Manager) in a Fortune 35 company to grow coaching skills in tomorrow’s leaders. As a coach Certified in Conversational Intelligence® Pete has access to the C-IQ Catalyst Tools and technologies and is equipped to facilitate workshops, masterminds and other in-depth sessions utilizing C-IQ tools and frameworks to elevate performance results, shift organizations into Level III Conversational Rituals, create and sustain a healthy organizational culture and much more.
Business and Organizational Leadership Experience:
Pete began his professional career with IBM after serving four years with the United States Marine Corps where he was meritoriously promoted to Sergeant in less than two years. During a 30-year career at IBM, Pete held technical and management positions across multiple IBM lines of business – Field Service, Field Marketing, Strategic Outsourcing and the Server and Storage Technology Group (STG).
Pete’s management responsibilities included coaching and mentoring positions in field service, technical sales, outsourcing and advanced technology support, where he was the STG Program Manager for the World-Wide High Availability Centers of Competency (HACoC) headquartered in Poughkeepsie, NY. In this role, Pete led creation of two new Centers of Competency in Montpellier, France, and Makuhari, Japan. In November 2008 Pete joined Aetna and was promoted to Director of Technical Infrastructure.
In this role, Pete led creation of an Automation Development Practice and the implementation of Agile practices across five development teams including Big Data and technology and process automation services. He co-created a program to develop and deploy coach training to over 200 leaders in the Information Services organization and provided group coaching to senior executives and members of the Human Resources Leadership Development Program. Pete also has over 25 years of experience supporting non-profits with over 15 years as a volunteer, committee lead and 11 years as a volunteer board of director with leadership roles as Board President, Board Vice President, Finance Committee Chair, Building Committee Chair and Personnel Committee.
