Pat is an executive coach and organizational development practitioner with over 30 years experience.
Pat earned a M.Ed. in Career Counseling from Northeastern University. She also completed two post-graduate programs (Organization and Systems Development and Working with Groups: Intensive) at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.
She is certified in several leadership 360 assessment tools including Profilor, Voices, and the suite of Center for Creative Leadership assessments. She has deep experience using Myers Briggs Type Indicator, DISC, and the Gallup StrengthsFinder with both individuals and teams. She has also studies Appreciative Inquiry and strengths-based coaching and uses these frameworks in her work with clients.
She has experience coaching leaders in organizations that are in the midst of significant organizational change including restructuring, downsizing, merging functions and starting up new divisions. She has successfully coached many physicians who are taking on greater strategic roles and responsibilities.
Pat is certified to facilitate Crucial Conversations and Crucial Accountability training programs. She has trained over 100 hospital leaders and 150 physicians to use these skills to improve clinical outcomes and relationships with colleagues as well as patients and their families.
She became interested in Conversational Intelligence as a way to learn more about how the latest research in neuroscience can help us improve the quality of our conversations and the results they achieve.
Pat created and led a corporate learning and organizational development function from start-up to value-added business partner in a large company that experienced a period of strong growth and the number of employees doubled.
She and her team created a comprehensive curriculum to attract, develop, and retain key talent. In another large organization, she designed and led an innovative development program for high-potential leaders in which action learning was a key component.
Pat been invited to share her work at various industry conferences over the years. She is a member of the Organizational Development Network, Boston Facilitators Roundtable and an Affiliate Member of the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School Affiliate.
Pat is currently based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Pat is a member of the first group of coaches to be certified in Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ). She is excited to integrate the C-IQ body of knowledge, tools and practices into her work with individuals, teams and organizations!
