Orla’s area of expertise and passion are Leadership Development, Change Management and Team Dynamics and she has facilitated and co-designed many programmes for diverse groups in several industry sectors over the last 20 years.
Her belief is that it is possible to lead from a place of strength and wisdom, whilst growing profitability and ensuring that leaders do not lose their soul and authenticity in the process. Conversational Intelligence forms a core part of this philosophy, strengthening the ability of global organisations as complex systems, to explore their unique differentiating factors in a changing market place.
Orla has worked at a senior executive level with teams who are globally diverse to enable them to understand how their interaction with one another can boost efficiencies and effectiveness, and where the ‘system’ of the organization, is creating blockages and barriers to growth and client satisfaction.
Orla Scott is a qualified coach (LBCAI), Systemic Team Coach (ICF) supervisor (Kingston University, Coaching Supervision) and has been working with coaching clients for the last 15 years and with supervision clients for the last 5 years . Orla has a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and is also a Master NLP (Neuro Linguistic Progamming) Practitioner and Reiki Master.
She has also trained in Nancy Kline’s ‘Time to Think’ philosophy and is a qualified assessor through the British Psychological Society for Psychometric Testing (Level B). She is also qualified in OPQ32, Leadership Strength Index (1&2) through Human Synergistics and Belbin profiling for team dynamics.
Orla’s practice takes elements from her many years of experience in business and coaching concepts to offer a robust and supportive coaching environment. She has had particular success in applying and sharing C-IQ techniques and concepts to support clients in making significant behavioural and mindset shifts for themselves and their teams.
She is a member of the Association for Coaching in Ireland and the European Coach Institute. Orla has worked within the private and not for profit sectors which gives her an insight into the success requirements and challenges of these business models.
Orla is currently Head of HR Management with Pioneer Investments in Dublin, Ireland a leading asset management company with 2,000 employees, within a globally diverse workforce. Her main internal clients are Investment Professional (Portfolio Management and Analysts and the Core Functions of Legal, Finance, Risk etc).
She is especially open to communities of practice and learning to enhance and embed Conversational Intelligence concepts and principles in an internal professional practice.
