Jo is the founder of Jo Adams Consulting, an award-winning HR Consultancy which delivers custom-designed coaching, development and HR support to organisations.


Jo believes that every organisation can be a great place to work and her mission is to help as many organisations as possible achieve this. With this comes her desire to support trusting, and open working relationships, helping leaders become great bosses and ultimately delivering success for an organisation and all its employees.


She is a Member of the Association for Coaching and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Jo has over 25 years’ experience working successfully in corporate HR environments with experience in leading large, complex change programmes delivering significant business improvements, working as a strategic HR business partner, leading diverse project teams and designing and delivering coaching and development solutions.


Jo works with businesses in the public, private and third sector, facilitating sessions for Boards and Senior Management Teams on vision and values, strategy development, culture and behaviour change, project and programme change.


Some of her client work includes:


  • Facilitation of strategic development sessions with the senior leaders to identify the key behaviours and activities required to deliver their vision and objectives
  • Facilitation of senior management teams and boards to develop and deliver business plans and objectives
  • Design and delivery of leadership and management development programmes to a number of organisations
  • Design and delivery of performance management programmes aligned to strategic objectives and focused on effective performance discussions
  • Coaching assignments for leaders and managers working on areas such as growth, personal change and leading organisational change.


Believing strongly in the connection between motivated, professional employees and the overall success of an organisation, she derives enormous satisfaction from working with groups and individuals helping them to see their role in context of the bigger business picture.


Jo completed her certification in Conversational Intelligence®. C-IQ in January 2018.  She believes C-IQ providers greater understanding how conversations shape our relationships, partnerships, our culture, and our reality.
