Gabriela Herrero

Gabriela Herrero has international expertise in Leadership Development, as well as Executive and Team Coaching where professional opportunities brought her to Asia, Canada, Europe, Middle East, North and South America.  She has also supported organizations to handle various scale change processes including; strategic realignments, alliances and integration of multicultural teams.

 

She is a Certified Professional Co-active Coach (CPCC) acquired from the Coaching Training Institute and is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).  To complement her coaching practice, Gabriela obtained the “Points of You” certification, a learning and personal development tool.  She also has her degree in Computer Sciences, a BA in Business, and a Master’s Degree in International business.

 

Gabriela has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of International Marketing and International Business Relations.  In 1990 she began her professional as Manager of International Business in Banco Internacional in Mexico City.

 

In 1996 she worked as Coordinator of International Business and Public Relations at Scaffold Connection Corporation where she was responsible for establishing new business and expand the market to Latin America.

 

In 1998 she joined Bombardier Aerospace, one of the world’s leading aerospace companies where she served as Market Coordinator and Marketing Manager until 2003. For five years she worked as Marketing Specialist for Thomson Gordon Group, a Marine Industry leader company with more than 90 distributors around the world.

 

The multinational and multicultural experiences give her a broad perspective about how to manage diversity, and exploit the potential of cross-cultural teams. In 2009 she became the founder and General Manager of Existence Coaching, an organization providing Cross-cultural and Lifestyle coaching.  

 

With a global focus on the diversity and cultural values of her clients; her programs contribute to their professional and personal development as leaders in the global market.  With a strong commitment to the evolution and development of leaders, organizations and global communities, Gabriela is a pioneer in the field of cross–cultural coaching in business and communities.

 

In the area of Inter-cultural Coaching, Gabriela teaches workshops to executives and multicultural teams addressing issues of cultural sensitivity and awareness, cultural competency, effective communication across cultures and training. She also provides Lifestyle coaching services to executives and their families in order to facilitate their adaptation and transition to new environments.

 

As an entrepreneur, she is the main distributor and trainer of “Points of You” – The Coaching Game in Latin America and Canada.  She has been a key element for its introduction to the market and to provide training on basic and advanced level workshops to disseminate the benefits of the tool.

 

Gabriela has developed skills that give her coaching practice a competitive advantage. These skills derive from her knowledge of people, places, cultures and languages (speaks Spanish, English, French and some Italian) learned in the course of her personal and professional life.

 

As a cancer survivor, she shares and deeply understands the challenges and transitions that arise in life. She also posses the key elements to communicate, share, and inspire success.

 

Gabriela is passionate about travel, cultures, and languages; she is a competitive swimmer and triathlete. Currently she is training to participate in her first Ironman.
