I like the concept of ‘Ubuntu’. It is a traditional African idea that comes from the Zulu and Xhola languages and can be loosely translated as ‘humanity towards others’. Ubuntu holds sacred the virtues that maintain harmony and the spirit of sharing among the members of society. There is a constant awareness that a person’s actions today are a reflection on the past, and will radiate far-reaching impact on the future.
