Britta Christiansen

CIQ Certified Coach

Britta Christiansen is a business coach, trainer and facilitator. She is passionate about helping business owners, their teams, and people in general ‘be’ their very best. She has over 17 years experience as a business coach having worked one on one with many hundreds of business owners and their teams in this time.

She won the Action International New Zealand Coach of the Year and the Coaches Coach – Australasia awards in 2004.

As a Business Coach and Trainer, Britta works with a wide variety of clients across most industries from soloprenuers to some of New Zealand’s largest companies. Britta’s background is in sales and marketing but a keen interest in neuroscience and what makes people tick has seen her expand her studies to include facilitation, leadership, strategic intervention and human needs psychology.

She is a certified C-IQ (Conversational Intelligence) Coach, a MBTI© facilitator and has personally profiled over 3,000 individuals using DiSC© behavioural profiling. Britta is also a certified trainer and coach of the Art of Deliberate Success® programme.

Her strength lies in quickly identifying patterns that get in the way of people being their best and developing plans to move forward in the direction of the client’s making.

Before becoming a Coach and Trainer, Britta was an acquisitions editor, then sales and marketing manager for a large multinational publishing company where she learnt as much about how not to manage teams as she did manage them.

Working at the British Embassy and the European Union in Bogota, Colombia were great lessons in how systems and processes can both help and hinder desired outcomes. This background, combined with a love of travel, means that her coaching style is pragmatic, results focused and driven by a genuine love of helping people be their best.
