Ariana Friedlander, MPA is an author, a social entrepreneur and the Founder of Rosabella Consulting, LLC. She works with leaders doing business as UNusual. Ariana specializes in fostering positive change in an organizations of all shapes and sizes. She is one of the only Millennials in the world to receive certification in Conversational Intelligence in 2016.
Her unique coaching and facilitation style creates conditions for collaborative conversations by modeling shared leadership. Ariana’s leadership philosophy was strongly influenced by the work of Peter Senge, James M Kouzes and Barry Posner.
She’s adept at guiding clients through transformational work by using intrinsic motivation. Ariana applies her background in anthropology to help organizational leaders navigate cultural changes that enable them to remain relevant in a rapidly changing world.
Ariana’s first book, “A Misfit Entrepreneur’s Guide to Building a Business Your Way” was released in 2016. Everything about the book is misfit, including how she wrote it. A community of 31 co-creators paid to be a part of her creative process and contributed insights, stories and feedback for the development of the manuscript.
With the release of the book, she launched a campaign to promote entrepreneurship and literacy by donating 100 copies of the book to libraries in Northern Colorado and beyond. She has also given talks about Embracing Your Inner Misfit to professionals, entrepreneurs and high school students.
Ariana has received a number of prestigious awards and recognition. She is a TEDx Speaker. In 2015, Ariana made the Northern Colorado 40 Under Forty list. Ariana received the 4th Annual Quid Novi award for Innovative Thought for EntrepreNerds™. She received a feature article about young professional in the Coloradoan and has been quoted in the New York Times.
She has her Master’s in Organizational Leadership from the University of Delaware and her BA from Hampshire College in Medical Anthropology. Ariana also holds a Certificate in Culture, Health and Science from the Five Colleges.
